Mack Urban is entering the South Lake Union sub-market with plans for a tower up to the maximum allowable height: 400 feet.
The project at the southeast corner of John Street and Terry Avenue North, next to The Seattle Times and an Amazon.com headquarters building. An old warehouse is on the property now. Next to the Mack Urban site is where Holland Partner Group plans to break ground early next year on a 40-story apartment tower at 970 Denny Way.
Seattle-based Mack Urban, currently has three other projects with a total of nearly 580 units.
